Sunrise Medical, a global leader in assistive mobility solutions, is excited to announce the acquisition of Nuprodx Inc., a California-based innovator and manufacturer of bathroom mobility products. This acquisition strengthens Sunrise Medical's portfolio by adding Nuprodx's best-in-class bathroom mobility solutions to its existing broad range of assistive mobility solutions.
Founded in 1998 by Bruce Hammer, a former motorcycle racer who became quadriplegic after an accident, Nuprodx is renowned for its patented shower tub slider systems and other bathroom products for mobility-impaired users. These systems offer lightweight, portable designs that provide many safety and ease-of-transport features for users needing seated access to bathtubs and showers.
Nuprodx has seen consistent growth in the U.S., driven by its innovative designs and customer-focused approach.
