"Upper Extremity Preservation and Intervention Consideration for Manual Mobility" was created by a clinician from the Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Clinic at Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center. This course will focus on improving your skills and confidence for assessment, intervention and education for manual wheelchair users in regards to upper extremity preservation. Clinically applicable research for prevention of overuse injuries via shoulder screening, activity modification and considerations with wheelchair service delivery will positively impact the wheelchair professional's practice and the functional independence of your consumers.
